the January note.
Hey hi hello,
I hope December was good to you, and that you have had a solid rest and plotted out some foreseen events of 2025. I’ll keep this pretty short and sweet.
You’ve planned your time, or at least, if you’re reading this, I know that you know how to get started and where to go for help. So, I’m not worried about you going into this year.
Keep in mind the motif of life, change. Whether you’ve planned out the year or have an idea of what you want to do with the year, be prepared for those infamous side quests. They keep us on our toes and our life as colourful as ever… What would life be without them?
In saying that, these side quests are both what makes you who you are and emphasise the importance of planning. It’s said that the event or situation isn’t what makes the person, but how the person responds that develops them. The reason TheBdrop heavily encourages planning is so that you may have the space of mind to pause, step back and think clearly in moments that pop up out of the blue. To be prepared for the unpredictable. To create enriching experiences out of inevitable side quests!
Above all things, remember to approach this new year with an open heart. This doesn’t mean accepting anything and everything, but test your limits, and do that scary thing. Take that leap to avoid succumbing to fear.
Do that scary thing.
Yours truly,
